Honorary Members

Background

Section 3.3.1 of the IAEM Constitution grants the Association the right to bestow Honorary Membership of the Association on 'Consultants in Emergency Medicine from overseas or Consultants in other specialties who have made a significant contribution to the development or advancement of the specialty of Emergency Medicine in Ireland or internationally'.

IAEM Honorary Membership Medal

With the minting of the IAEM Medal in June 2012, the Association decided to present such a medal to each recipient of Honorary Membership of the Association. Below are photographs of the medals being presented:

Presentation to Prof. Juliusz Jakubaszko
