Current Emergency Medicine Training Documents

The following documents are of interest to doctors training or working in Emergency Medicine. They are reproduced with kind permission of the Irish Committee on Emergency Medicine Training (ICEMT). Some may refer to the Advisory Committee on Emergency Training (ACEMT) which was superceded by ICEMT.

The European Society for Emergency Medicine (EuSEM), of which IAEM is a member, produced a Curriculum for Training in Emergency Medicine in Europe in August 2009.

In 2009, the International Federation of Emergency Medicine, of which IAEM is a Full Member, produced a Model Curriculum for Emergency Medicine intended for undergraduates. IFEM is currently producing a parallel curriculum for postgraduates.

Superceded Emergency Medicine Training Documents

Documents that have been superceded are accessible in the Document Archive. Please note that, by definition, they are no longer current but are stored for historical and archival purposes only.
