IAEM Annual Scientific Meeting 2012

Very successful 2012 IAEM ASM held in Co. Kildare

After a number of years where the IAEM Annual Scientific Meeting took place at a variety of provincial venues, the 2012 meeting was held 'within the Pale'. The meeting was shorter than usual because of the Association's hosting of ICEM 2012 and took place at Carton House, Maynooth, Co. Kildare on Friday 19th October 2012 with the IAEM AGM held on Saturday 20th October 2012.

Call for Abstracts

The Call for Abstracts closed on Friday 21st September at 17.00 hrs. The Abstract Submission Guidelines and the Abstract Submission Form are here for reference. Accepted abstracts are available in the IAEM 2012 Book of Abstracts.

The Annual Scientific Meeting was open to both IAEM Members and non-members alike.

The Annual General Meeting of IAEM which took place on Saturday 20th October 2012 at 09.00hrs was open to Association Full, Associate, Affiliate and Life Members only.

Venue and Accomodation

The meeting took place at Carton House Hotel, Maynooth, Co. Kildare.

Gala Dinner

Unusually, and because of the shortened format of the 2012 meeting, the IAEM 2102 Gala Dinner took place on Friday 19th October 2012 rather than on the Saturday night as normally occurs. 

CPD Credits

CPD credits were awarded by ICEMT (RCSI) as follows:

• Friday 20th October 2012   5.5 hours credit
