Clinical Guidelines
BackgroundThe IAEM Academic Committee is currently undertaking a major exercise in developing and endorsing Clinical Guidelines as fit for purpose for use in Irish Emergency Departments on behalf of the Emergency Medicine Programme (EMP). It has developed a sophisticated tool to do this in a scientifically robust way. The document Development of Clinical Guidelines - A Guide for Clinicians April 2011 describes the agreed development process for clinical guidelines.
Once finalised the Clincal Guidelines will be accessible on the proposed Emergency Medicine Programme Clinical Guidelines site. Thy will also be available here. Current Guidelines
